Sprinkler system hookup
Upon arrival found the foot valve was pulled out of the lake and found a jet pump/pressure tank system in a small pump
house near the lake , reconnected foot valve with existing union
Attempted to prime pump by filling the system with buckets from the lake , but after 30 minutes it still wouldn’t prime as it
was filling the pipe uphill as well. Installed an 1 1/4” threaded ball valve to isolate the pump and prime with the guzzler , also
added a pressure gauge to ensure there was no leak
Primed pump and pressurized system to 50 psi , bled air and glycol out of the system using the outdoor shower unit , and
manually engaged the solenoid valve to bleed air and glycol out of the sprinklers
Went in the garage and set the correct time of day on the unit , manually engaged station 1 to ensure it was functioning
Let it on automatic run mode to run the customized watering settings
